Saemidori is a highly functional tea cultivar said to originate from Kagoshima Prefecture. Saemidori is a hybrid of cultivars called asatsuyu and yabukita. It has little of the characteristic astringency of green tea and features a mellow, refined flavor. When brewed at 70-80°C, you can enjoy a sweet taste and a brilliant dark green color. This contains lots of theanine, an amino acid.

●Hot to make delicious tea:
① Pour boiled water or hot water from a pot into teacups and allow to cool a little.
② Add tea leaves to the tea pot and then pour the water in the teacups back into the teapot.
*Use approx. 5g of tea leaves and 250cc of hot water for 2 cups of tea.
③ Wait approx. 30-60 seconds if you prefer (do not leave when brewing a second time), and then alternately pour into teacups so none remains.
*Adjust tea leaf and hot water amount in accordance with your preference.

*Freshness is vital for tea. After opening, store in a sealed container and consume as soon as possible.
*Be careful not to burn yourself when using hot water.
●Storage Instructions: Avoid high temperatures and humidity. Please be mindful of odor transfer when storing.
