Also, SUNAO is based on the concept of cutlery that suits Japanese dining. This is why SUNAO products are smallish so that they fit hands of Japanese people and go well with chopsticks in this modern society.
They all are carefully designed to make full use of the function that each item has.

Designed by graf decorative mode number 3. It was setup by 6 people - an architect, a product designer, a carpenter, a furniture craftsman, an artist and a chef - to be able to carry out all kinds of design proposals with the living space as a setting. Everything is founded on coproduction, from the original idea to design and production. Now, their graf office is in Nakanoshima, Osaka, and it also holds a studio, an office, a showroom, a restaurant, and a gallery which has been receiving high praise from overseas.

Thanks to the "R-curved surface" on the back of the handle, it gently fits your fingers. The product name "SUNAO" has been engraved to give an aesthetic look. The curvy line creates great usefulness and it will make you feel like its simplicity is the best.
Matte finishing is a method to remove the gloss. It creates a moist feeling and a subdued look.
The edges of the handle have been made to be rounded to fit your hand. Also, there is no joint so it's easy to wash and clean. The ladle portion is oval-shaped so you can easily scoop food and dishes up.
