Bancha contains substances said to be good for the body, such as polysaccharides and catechins. Among these substances, polysaccharides is sensitive to heat, so it is suggested that you make this bancha with cold water. As well as being able to enjoy a different taste from when made with hot water, you can also be kind to your body - a healthy tea that downs 2 birds with 1 stone. Also, as bancha doesn't contain much caffeine, it's also recommended for consumption before bed and by kids. It also can be made with hot water and consumed as a regular bancha (aoyanagi) tea.

●Ingredients: green tea

●How to make tasty bancha with cold water (1 liter for 1 person per day):
① Put 30g of this bancha directly into a pot. (Do not use a tea pack etc.)
② Pour in 1 liter of water.
③ After 2-3 minutes, shake well and, when the color starts to turn light green, place in the refrigerator overnight.
④ When pouring into a cup, it is useful to use a tea strainer.
*You can drink as a regular bancha (aoyanagi) by brewing with hot water.
*Adjust tea leaf and hot water amount in accordance with your preference.

*Store tea made using cold water in the refrigerator and consume the same day if possible.
*Freshness is vital for tea. After opening, store in a sealed container and consume as soon as possible.
*Be careful not to burn yourself when using hot water.
