Sencha is manufactured differently from gyokuro tea. As it is made using tea from open-air tea fields, it contains a high caffeine & tannin content, an especially high amount of vitamin C, and other vitamins in a great balance. The tea leaves feature a vivid green color and fine, needle-like shape. This is proof that they have been carefully rolled, and it also makes the extraction of the ingredients easier. When poured, its color is light blue tinged with bright yellow. This tea features slight sweetness and astringency, and has a smooth drinking sensation and aroma representative of Uji tea. This is a carefully made tea manufactured using select ingredients (aracha tea) cultivated by Joshoen over many years. Please enjoy the flavor and aroma of this Joshoen tea.

Item Description

●Ingredients: green tea
●7 Main Allergens (wheat, buckwheat, egg, milk, peanut, shrimp, crab): none
●Contents: 100g
●Made in Japan
●Hot to make delicious tea:
① Boil water.
② Pour hot water into teacup(s).
③ Put 2 tablespoons of tea leaves in a teapot.
④ Add water that was poured into the teacup(s) to the teapot.
⑤ Wait a short while and then pour alternately into teacups until no water remains in the teapot.
⑥ If you leave the teapot lid open slightly, you can make a delicious second brew.
*Adjust tea leaf and hot water amount in accordance with your preference.
