Among all green teas, sencha is the most commonly consumed. Shizuoka is a tea production area that manufactures the largest amount of tea in Japan. This tea is made using a deep-roasted manufacturing method, a feature of Shizuoka tea. The tea is steamed for approximately twice as long compared to regular sencha teas. As the steam heat is properly conveyed to the core of the tea leaves, the tea leaves are more powdery than regular sencha tea, and the tea flavor and color are deeper. The tea leaves have a reduced grassy smell and astringency, and are finer. When brewing tea, it will contain lots of the actual tea leaf content, so you can deliciously intake the active ingredients that don't dissolve in water.

●Hot to make delicious tea:
① Boil water.
② Pour hot water into teacup(s).
③ Put 2 tablespoons of tea leaves in a teapot.
④ Add water that was poured into the teacup(s) to the teapot.
⑤ Wait a short while and then pour alternately into teacups until no water remains in the teapot.
⑥ If you leave the teapot lid open slightly, you can make a delicious second brew.
